The Manitoba First Nation’s Youth Council & Youth Secretariat Staff welcome all of you to the Youth Secretariat Website. We appreciate everyone for being involved with our initiatives! Our department would not be possible without the assistance of the Leadership, volunteers and organizers for all their hard work, participation and determination on First Nations Issues. We encourage everyone to network with other organizations and gain more knowledge that intern will benefit yourself and your community

 

The youth secretariat has been very busy in the last year with youth initiatives such as the Youth Leadership Program, 11^th Regional Youth Gathering, Youth Suicide Prevention and Summer Employment. Our next upcoming event will be the 7^th Traditional Youth Gathering that will be held in the West Region Area of Manitoba.  We would like to take this time to re - introduce our Regional Youth Leaders who were elected at our recent 11^th Regional Youth Gathering held at the Misty Lake Lodge Conference Centre in Gimli, Manitoba. They are Bobby Monias, Garden Hill First Nation (4^th Term) and Erin Egachie, Roseau River First Nation (Proxy till March Elections) Congratulations to our youth and youth leaders!
